Full Job Description

The Warehouse Logistics Coordinator is responsible for providing leadership to a small team of warehouse associates tasked with receiving and replenishing merchandise ensuring the sales team is well supported and product is shipped quickly to customers. The Warehouse Logistics Coordinator is accountable for accuracy of receiving documents, and provides supervision over product storage. The Warehouse Logistics Coordinator is a role model within the team for abiding by and holding others accountable for Code of Conduct and overall business practices. Leads by example with the highest level of integrity. The Warehouse Logistics Coordinator must be available to work Monday – Friday starting at 7 or 8 am..

Job Duties

The successful candidate will need strong organizational and planning skills, communication skills, and good MS Office skills. The position is paid hourly and reports to the Chief Product Officer. The position has a desk located in the warehouse. 

  • Prioritizing outgoing shipments for the day
  • Organize and enter each morning’s orders into shipping systems so that invoices and carton labels are waiting for the warehouse team to arrive and start shipping
  • Printing all shipping labels
  • Re-order supplies
  • Interface with delivery drivers
  • Manage all receiving and communication related to receiving
  • Scheduling all shipping for sales shows
  • Manage and communicate inventory tracking and pallet locations in company systems
  • Coordinate with inventory manager about low stock items
  • Manage customer returns 
  • Communicate with other departments to ensure products are shipped in a timely manner
  • Compile standard shipping reports for shipping as needed
  • Serve as project manager for the physical inventory count twice a year
  • Monitor warehouse work and schedules to help identify opportunities for improvement
  • Help meet warehouse and team goals in collaboration with management

Back up for:

  • Daily shipping
  • Picking and packing daily orders
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Skill and Experience Requirements:

  • Military veterans encouraged
  • High school degree required
  • MS Office/Google Enterprise proficiency required
  • Logistics experience preferred
  • Some management experience needed
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Data entry skills required
  • Ability to lift in excess of 50 lbs  and use hand wheeled carts to move inventory
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Strong drive for results
